aspen-madi is a specialist website for the supply of audio products for the MADI (Multichannel Audio Digital Interface) format. MADI is widely used for the transmission of up to 64 channels of audio at 48 kHz sampling frequency, via fibre or coaxial cable, facilitating cable runs of up to 3000m. MADI is the format of choice for broadcast studios and other facilities where it is necessary to efficiently route multi-channel audio.
aspen-madi is a microsite under the umbrella of Aspen Media Ltd www.aspen-media.com. Aspen Media was founded in 1995 by its Director Chris Collings. Chris has a wealth of experience in the audio industry with a background that includes the manufacture and sales of audio equipment. He is passionate about customer care and is very keen to share his knowledge and experience with his customers.
Aspen Media has been a longstanding distributor for Stagetec who manufacture audio mixers and routing systems. Stagetec extensively uses MADI to connect its systems to third party equipment and customers who have benefitted from this approach include the BBC, Formula 1 and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
